Feb. 14th - Breakfast with the Best
CanACT and the OAC Alumni Association have teamed up to offer a networking breakfast for agricultural communications students at the University of Guelph on February 14th, 2007.
The program begins at 8:00 a.m. in the University Centre, Room 103, with an open meet and greet where students are welcome to network with several alumni and members of the agriculture industry. This will be followed by presentations on the integrated agricultural communications initiative at Guelph, the OAC Alumni organizations, and guest speaker Mark Ostrowski from Opal Management Associates. There will be a continental breakfast and the event should finish by 9:30 a.m..
All interested students are encouraged to participate and bring your business cards and resumes.

March 8th - ECFWA Professional Development Seminar
The Eastern Canadian Farm Writers' Association is holding a professional development seminar on interviewing techniques on March 8th, 2006. CanACT members are encouraged to attend the event beginning at 4:30 p.m . until 6:30 p.m. at the AgriCentre. This seminar will replace the post-Belize meeting originally planned for March 8th.
