Hello CanACT!
Welcome back to another semester at Guelph! CanACT has some great meetings planned for Winter '07, especially the one this Thursday at 5:30 p.m. in UC room 429.
To integrate Career Week with CanACT, we are holding a meeting on "Life After CanACT". Owen Roberts, CanACT advisor is going to begin the meeting with a presentation on the transition from university to the real world. Following this, CanACT alumni (including Leslie Irons, studying at The University of Western Ontario's Faculty of Education and Jeanine Wallace, Communications Coordinatior at Ontario Soybean Growers) will lead a discussion on their experiences with job
searching, interviewing, portfolios and more. The meeting will end with an open discussion with all CanACT members, alumni and Owen.
This meeting will help members graduating in April and others who will want to get a head start on their career planning.
Refreshments will be provided.
